Major General Quazi Md Rashid-Un-Nabi, MBBS, MPH, MPhil

Director General, Directorate General of Drug Administration

Career Summary

Thirty-three years' working experience with Bangladesh Army. Served in Bangladesh army in various capacities in Headquarters and Field units. During his long carrier, served as Commanding Officer of a Field unit and two Combined Military Hospitals. Served in United Nations Peace Keeping Mission twice (each time for one year) in Sierra Leone and Sudan. He served as the Director, Kurmitola General Hospital in 2019 & Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital, Dhaka from 2020 to 2023. He was promoted to the rank of Major General and joined as the Commandant, Armed Forces Medical College, Dhaka on 3rd December 2023. He joined as the Director General of the Directorate General of Drug Administration on 18th July, 2024.

Field Experience

Major General Quazi Md Rashid-Un-Nabi joined Bangladesh Army in July 09, 1991. In his long thirty-three years' career, he served in various capacities in different Headquarters, Field units and Government Hospitals. These are:
